Change for the Better?

Change is defined by Webster’s dictionary as “to put or take in place of something else, substitute, to make different, alter”. When applied to the modern fire service and the fire service of just 25 years ago, it is readily apparent that changes have significantly altered apparatus, communications, staffing levels, operational capabilities, and numerous other factors.
